For two years, I tried to get a major pad manufacturer to make a short pad. They refused, so I purchased the Cloudlite Pro. Best decision I made for this year. It is light weight and very comfortable. On a 19 night bp trip, JMT, it held air all night, didn’t take up extra space and it is easy to roll up and put in the stuff sack. I cannot lie I don’t think I’ve ever bought a product that has made me this happy. As a plus size hiking girly finding equipment that does what it’s supposed to has been hard to find especially sleeping pads. In preparation for a multi-day hike through the Blue Mountains, I picked up the Barkers Rocks CloudLite Pro because I needed something that packed down smaller than my old mat without sacrificing comfort. Nights up there can get surprisingly cold, so the insulation rating was a big selling point. I also really liked the ribbed surface design, it feels more plush and more stable than those mats with honey comb baffles. I noticed pretty quickly that rolling from side to side didn’t make much noise, and I didn’t have to readjust myself every time I moved. Inflating it with the pump bag was quick, and once filled it sat at that perfect balance between firm and cushy. Deflating it was even easier, and it actually rolls right back into its stuff sack without a fight. Even after dirt, sand, and a few rough campsites, the material still looks practically new. Perfect for couples camping. I love how it’s really spacious and lets me stretch out. I’m quite tall (6'2) so having the extra room was great. I actually grabbed the R1 mat in the collection as it’s warmer where I live, but my partner grabbed the R5 and she loves it too! Highly recommend.

The larger size is absolutely worth it if you like room. If youre having trouble inflating it like I did initially the instrucitons on the back of the pump bag are really handy. My wife actually decidedd to get the regular as she still wanted a comfy sleep and it was a perfect size for her and a great price too!

I put off buying this for months because I’m one of those people who hates ordering something I can’t lie on first. Eventually a mate of mine who hikes all the time said, just get it you won’t regret it. And after a long week and a couple of beers… I finally did. It turned up fast, no dramas, and fit neatly inside my 50L pack without eating up half the space like my old mat. Just got back from a 4-day trek through the Overlands Track where every bit of comfort counts. By the end of each brutal day, knowing I had this pad waiting for me honestly felt like a small blessing. It stayed warm underneath, cushy enough that my hips didn’t hurt becasue i feel like I have pretty bony hips. I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 for one reason. Louder than I hoped. I wish i could give this 5 stars becasue I loved how comfortable it was and how warm it kept me. If you're looking for the most quiet sleeping pad this isnt it, but its a great value for money due to all of it's other feautres that you won't even find if you go for the more pricey ones.

I slept on this for multiple nights in a row and woke up without back pain, which hasn’t happened in years of camping. The ribbed construction makes it feel more like a structured surface than a balloon of air. It doesn’t crinkle every time you move either, which was a huge plus. Warm, supportive, and surprisingly durable. A noticeable upgrade from the standard mats out there.

The CloudLite Pro uses our AeroSnoz Pump Bag, allowing you to inflate the pad quickly without using your breath.
Attach the pump bag to the X-port valve, making sure only the top valve is opened.
Blow air into the bag and close the opening quickly to capture as much air as possible.
Roll or squeeze the bag to push air into the pad.
Repeat until the pad feels firm — typically 3–5 bag fills is all it takes.
To deflate, simply open the bottom valve of the X-Port valve to release air from the pad. Roll from the foot toward the head to push out any remaining air, and it packs down small in seconds.
